Korczakianum’s collection

Korczakianum’s collection features a variety of material concerned with Korczak’s biography, as well as with the history of Korczak institutions. It includes original documents (manuscripts and typescripts classified as manuscripts) and „secondary” documents, including photo/xerox copies and transcripts. We also have contemporary and old books, jobbing prints, press cuttings and photographs, both originals and reproductions.

Korczakianum works closely with world’s other Korczak archive at The Ghetto Fighters’ House Museum in Israel.

Our foreign (non-Polish) language library showcases publications by and about Korczak from more than 30 countries. We also collect selected documentation of the Korczak movement that comprises member organizations of the Warsaw-based Janusz Korczak Association.
